Designs In Creative Entertainment

Designs In Creative Entertainment was founded in 1992 by Mark Frazier. The company initially attempted to have its designs published by existing board game manufacturers. The realities of the hobby game industry's economics were soon apparent, as it became clear that DICE would have to publish its own games. The costs of producing a large print run were prohibitive, especially for board games that were targeted at a unique demographic.

Ten years passed, and desktop publishing technology gradually advanced to the point where it became feasible to self-produce our games. DICE became a reality once again, and released its first game, 18C2C, in January 2003. With over 150 copies sold worldwide, we are building a reputation for game designs with quality game components surrounding a challenging depth of play.

While the computer game industry has long since eclipsed the board game industry, we believe that board games still provide something that computer games never will - direct social interaction.
