Educa Sallent was founded in 1967.
In 2001, it merged with Borras Plana, another puzzle and game company.
The merged company is now known as Educa Borras, and is based in Barcelona, Spain.
It markets its products under the brands Educa (for educational games) and Borras (for family games).

Educa Sallent also published games as Didacta, a registered trademark used by it.
