The English and Scottish Joint Cooperative Wholesale Society or, more usually, The Co-op, published 4 Snap card games in the late 30’s. The card illustrations were very factual and designed to illustrate their range of Teas (very important to the British!). They were printed in their own printing works in Manchester. Whether they were sold or given away, nobody knows.
The company name was shortened to C.W.S. on their boxes for these games.
