Fresh Artists is an award-winning, innovative new model, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, created to empower vulnerable children to play an active roll in fixing the critical shortage of arts funding in our severely stressed public schools.
Fresh Artists core goal is to empower vulnerable children as philanthropists by facilitating their direct civic engagement, creating tangible opportunities for them to give to each other. Fresh Artists realizes its vision with a simple 3-part plan:
• Providing real philanthropic opportunities to disadvantaged public school children by inviting them to donate the use of their artwork for reproduction
• Outfitting businesses with large, high-quality reproductions of children’s “fresh art” in exchange for financial donations
• Returning the proceeds from donations back into public school classrooms in the form of quality art supplies and innovative art programs.
