Company Tehnolog was founded in 1987 as a private business. Its main product was thermo-application for cotton clothes (thermotransferring of a picture from paper onto clothes). Market demand changed after 1991, and the company changed its profile. Tehnolog worked out its own technology for producing casting molds of nonferrous metal which could render the smallest details of miniatures. The company makes its subsequent development expanding different techniques of metal-work and manufacturing of a casting molds for it’s own models of toys. Simultaneously, the company expands sales of its products. The fast growing market of boardgames allowed Tehnolog to occupy the certain sector of wargames tactics and strategy.

Since 1995 Tehnolog have been developing it’s own printing base. Nowadays it is the full cycle of prepress, letterpress offset, postpress cutting, varnishing, gluing and stitching.

In 1998 the company has begun developing 3D-technique for creating figures, vehicles and robots using CNC milling of molds or milling of electrodes for erosion and electochemical machines. It allows reasonably combine both speed of producing molds, and sufficient quality of miniatures.

Created 3D-models allows us to make a prototype out of molded plastic, and then eliminate revealed defects in the mathematical model. Simultaneously with the producing of the mold, our artists work hard creating the image for the package, often using renderings of the textured 3D-models.

There are 12 artists (sculptors, designers, engravers, specialists in computer simulation), 28 engineers, and 125 highly skilled workers of different technical specialities. This allows the company to react quickly to the changing demands of the Russian toy market, producing up to twenty new products every year. Today our price-list icludes over 80 commodities. The turnover of the company made up about $800,000.

The further growth of volume of business Tehnolog sees in cooperation with well-known companies. We would like to produce boardgames and wargames under license, and distribute them in Russia. Having our own productive base (16 thermoplastic machines, 3 offset presses, 20 different metal-working machines) we are able to produce licensed goods of high quality. We are also ready for cooperation as a supplier of plastic miniatures for your new ideas.
