Family Pastimes is a family owned and operated business near Perth, Ontario, Canada. Started in 1972 to make a few handmade co-operative games, it grew to include hundreds of titles. Internet articles indicate that they deliver 40,000 to 50,000 units per year for gross sales in the half-million dollar range.
One report indicates that the manufacturing (still all made in Canada) has been farmed out to a larger company, but that doesn't seem to be indicated on the familypastimes.com Web site.
In addition to the cooperative mantra, the games are printed with soy-based inks and use recycled products as much as possible.
