Quest Games began in 1972 as Donald Benge's publishing company for his game Conquest. Though many games were submitted by outside sources, he never published any but his own. Conquest started as a 2 - player cardboard affair. It progressed with plastic and even pewter pieces as a 4 - player game. Partnership play soon followed. Then Conquest Plus introduced catapults and siege engines. Finally in 2006 Grand Conquest introduced camels and castles with working drawbridges. Donald was killed by a drunk driver in April of 2007.
