MaGregor Historic Games aka Rose & Pentagram Design is a small business focused on researching and preserving board, dice and card games from the past.
We believe that games are like languages, they have "dialects" that change as they travel and age,
-so we include as many variations in rules as we can find to include most of our board games.
In addition to being great family games, many of our products make excellent props for historical reenactors, Renaissance fair participants, SCA members or historic-themed LARPs.
We also make our own line of portable fabric board games that are compact and portable and great for camping or traveling. These include Backgammon, Checkers, Cribbage, Morris (the Mill Game), Fidchell, Ringo, and Pope Joan.
