Blast City was created in 2007, inspired by low budget publishers such as DB Spiel, Hangman Games, Stratamax Games, Mondainai Strategy Games, and Phil Eklund Games. A similar trait of all these publishers would be their unique creative approach to publishing while working with extremely low budgets. For example, the wonderful Tahuanatinsuyu by Hangman Games use of glass bits, or DB Spiel's wonderful hand made boxes.
Blast City believes in a "no bank loans' philosophy.
All games published are usually low run, and some portions are hand made. As more sell, newer games will have a greater budget and hand making part will be outsourced.
Blast City aims for John Carpenter type output.
Blast City does not have a website. Can find some games on site below.
