The 2011 game kit edition came in a plastic bag rather than the traditional Winsome clamshell. It did not include any of the following: crayons or blocks, game box, play money, 6 sided dice. It is up to the game buyer to decide how they want to produce the game. It does come with a box label in case the owner decides that they want to put it in a box.
