Description Edit | History

This is a full shogi set in the same graphical style as どうぶつしょうぎ - Let's Catch the Lion!. The game board is a canvas mat, and the pieces are chunky, fragrant wood as in the other game. The target market arguably includes families who want to upgrade their children from the training grounds of どうぶつしょうぎ - Let's Catch the Lion!, without them feeling intimidated by the traditional kanji-bearing shogi pieces; and shogi fans who adore Maiko Fujita's graphical style.

Although at a glance they look like the same game, どうぶつしょうぎ - Let's Catch the Lion! features a 3×4 board, and four pieces unique to that game per team.
