This is a copy of the first edition of Wiz-War from 1985. There were only 100 copies made, and the boards were hand silk-screened by the designer and sold in zip-lock bags at California conventions. The tokens were black and white, and cut out by scissors from card stock by the purchaser. The game was rejected by 5 companies (Midkemia, Steve Jackson Games, Eon, Mayfair, and one other) before the decision was made to self-publish the first edition.
