Description Edit | History

This is the 2nd English Language Edition of Ticket to Ride. The box art differs from the 1st English Language Edition primarily because of the fact that it has the Spiel des Jahres logo on the front of the box.

The game board differs from the 1st English Language Edition in two important ways to enhance clarity. The train track segments in the new edition correspond to the train cards in both color and symbol, whereas the original version only denoted train tracks by color. This makes them more easily distinguishable to colorblind players. Also, the scoring track goes to 100, whereas the 1st English Language Edition only went to 80, making it easier to calculate and track scores.
