There are actually two versions of the Uberplay English edition. One has a cardboard "ark" the other has a wooden "ark". Look at the image on the back of the box to see which one you have.

one thing I do notice is even on the one with the wooden ark the text for the description of the components indicate ark with a plastic stand... but I don't think there is a plastic stand since the wooden one doesn't need a stand....
