Dorn is a tactical board game inspired by the very roots of the classic fantasy role-playing games where heroes explore various dark places and combat hostile monsters. Players can choose from nine unique heroes including a mage, a sword master, an elven princess or a dwarf warrior. These characters can move freely on the game board, which contains treasures as well as artifacts that the heroes need to collect if they want to face Zorkal. Zorkal the Dornkeeper, who is played by one of the players, has several different types of monsters at his disposal that he can summon to fight the heroes. Both the heroes and Zorkal can advance in levels and thus gain new abilities. There is no single winning strategy, as each game will feature different heroes, monsters, and treasures. Dorn will thus remain exciting game for numerous evenings.
