Description Edit | History

Lights. Camera. Fall off the roof.

Welcome to Deadwood Studios, home of the million-movie month. You’re a bit actor with a simple dream. The dream of getting paid. You and your cohorts will spend the next four days dressing up as cowboys, working on terrible films, and pretending you can act.

So strap on your chaps and mosey up to the roof. Your line is "Aaaiiigggghh!"

Deadwood is a fast-paced board game about actors, acting, and the thrill-filled life of a wandering bit player. It’s best with 2 to 6 players, but still decent with 7 or 8. Play time is about 60 minutes.

Players begin as lowly bit actors, and spend their days roaming the Deadwood backlot in search of acting jobs. As you act, you earn money and credit, and you can turn those into higher rank, which in turn earns more money and credits. Manage your time and your resources well, and you'll be the best actor on the backlot!
