The BEST WWII miniatures armor game on the market in terms of detail, historical accuracy, and tactical thinking. Does for tanks what ASL did for infantry combat. Moderately dense but primarily intuitive rules (there are a couple of exceptions to this, but you get used to them fairly quickly). Very nice components - double-sided full color unit cards, color-coded combat charts, and thick order/marker chits. Provided TO&E's are very good to excellent, with the specific divisional TO&E's in the attendant supplements being especially good. Artillery and air support work particularly well in this game, having an integrated feel to them (as opposed to feeling "slapped on at the last minute").

Scaled for 1/285 or 1/300 microarmor also means that you won't have to shell out $11 per tank, and can field a full company with support elements for a comfortable price (in cash as well as painting time).

If you want a fun game that also lets you use historical formations and tactics (as opposed to that silly "buckets o' dice" game that uses WWII models), this is it!

Great game design. The designer James Day knows what he is doing and has many years under his belt with this system.

Fun factor 10 once you get going. love the miniature aspect. using the Panzer Flats. Printed those out, set out some felt and construction paper for terrain features. Made my way through the basic rules pretty quick because they flow nicely, now I'm working my way through the advanced rules. I am looking into purchasing the board game but, I really like using the tape measure and target angle wheel!

The best squad level WWII miniature rules on the market today. Perfect blend of realism/historical accuracy and playability.

Very nice WWII armor game. Morale is simpler that ASL, but works for the scale it is based on. Clean and fast playing. The charts augment, as opposed to detract, from the game.

Streamlined version of "Panzer", "Armor", "88". I believe the infantry works much better in this version. Has most of the fine points of the original without the tedious plotted turns.

Slightly different take on the original Yaquinto series of boardgames by Jim Day. Had and let go the LBG hard copy, but re-acquired StrikeNet's PDF & Print version from www.WargameVault.com

Extremely dated system. Cannot believe GMT is reprinting.

Sounds to me like a enormous case of envy on your part, Mr. Tan.

The original Yaquinto boardgame titles were superb and hold up quite well yet today. These mini rules are the original source for those games and are themselves, outstanding. Just as I'm sure the reprint by GMT of the boardgames will be.
