Rating is for play with children.

A roll-and-move game with a dinosaur theme. Quite fun to play as there are various routes one can take, and some cards that can be drawn which add more randomness. Good for 5-8 year-olds, I would imagine.

I got this from a charity shop/thrift store, but then my wife returned it as she said the children didn't play it enough!

For younger children, especially those interested in diosaurs, this game could be an 8 or 9.

What's not to like about a boardgame with dinos? The roll and move board layout makes no sense. Cool dinos, not much else going for this game.

I used to love this game as a kid, although they completely have their history wrong. I'm pretty sure sabertooth tigers and dinosaurs did not exist together.

Basic roll & move game — the only mildly interesting feature is that you sometimes get to choose your path. "Sometimes" because if you land exactly on a junction, your path is randomly determined by the roll of a die. Uses my least favorite mechanic: you can only enter the final space by exact roll. This is game designers' lazy way of "balancing" (i.e. punishing) a string of good luck. Production value is poor, and educational content is minimal.

My 7 year old, dinosaur-loving kid (who, admittedly is an experienced game player), found this too boring to play again.

Great game for the kids, but not too young. There is a short downtime per player that my five-year-old grandson doesn't handle too well, but the seven-year-old has no problem with.

Got two thrift copies for our homeschool co-op dinosaur class. The kids seemed to enjoy it okay.

Haven't played yet but first impressions are that this will be ok for playing with the younger kids. Has enough variation in the board via the different paths that the gameplay might be suitably different each time it's played.
