I love this game. No one faction dominates the game (even though a couple do give you a run for your money-Undead). So much potential in such a simple mechanic game.

Excellent game for what it represents; not on a par with Puerto Rico and the like, but it doesn't claim to be; all in all very fun and highly addictive light strategy game with a throwing twist.

This game is perfect. Especially if you are looking for a fun diversion. Easy to play, and more thinking than you expect. Price is not as bad as people think when you consider some popular CCGs have had $6 boosters with 10 easily made paper cards. Pick this up if you want to have fun!!!

People who rate all collectable games low because they are collectable should relax. There is a lot going on in this game, including how you build you stacks of chips and when you decide to throw which chip. It's quick and fun. Unlike CCGs which are all but useless when they die, when this one gets cancelled I'll have a nice set of fantasy-themed poker chips.

This is a great game--Poker chips are cool, pitchin penny's is fun and the stats and powers give some level of strategy to where and when to throw your chips. But, I don't think this game is going to take off. I think where they went wrong is that they don't have a target audience. The CCG crowd is turning their noses up at this game because it's not deep enough for them, and the non-CCG crowd is turning their noses up at this because of its high priced boosters. I will agree, that $2.50 for two chips is outrageous even for CCGs.

Still, I think it's a very fun game, and the starter sets are good enough on their own (and priced fair) to justify buying this as a stand alone game to use as a fun filler. I'm watching for cheap boosters on eBay.

Update: Well, it did die. I got the starter sets for the 3 expansion colors.

Strange, but also a ton of fun. Wonderful mix of strategy and dexterity. The chips are very high quality and have a nice "heft" to them. Trying to read the text on the chips after they are in play is difficult, but luckily it isn't usually necessary. Great with any number of players.

I thought the game was just fine. I think the pricing of the boosters is horrible. Really really horrible. at least with magic or most other CCGs, you can get random stuff out of the start packs. This game wants 2 bucks a chip for stuff that might not even work with the sets you've got.

Clever little collectible poker-chip throwing game. Chips feel good and look great, each with custom artwork and mnemonic ability names. Units are themed well: centaurs cans usually be moved after throwing; goblins are weak unless near others and a horde of them become powerful; undead units such as banshees are destructive to everything around them (including friendly units); etc.

My first impression was that they were really reaching to come up with something else to stick the label "Collectible Game" around, but this is actually done well. Some of the abilities may be a bit fiddly at first, but the ability names on chips are much easier to remember than the arcane symbols on Diskwars or BattleDice, or the tiny color swatches on WizKids' (anything)-Clix games, etc.

Played it twice, kids loved it and I had fun as well. Great filler game, easy to learn/play. Brainiacs with no dexterity or who easily get angered when they can't use their mind to beat you will hate the game. It's just easy, plain-old fun. Bought some on sale on a work trip to WI - may be overpriced otherwise...

Fun dexterity game, with a strong "special ability" element.

I have to play it more to see how deep this can go, but I am not sure I will find so many people willing to: it may be too much on the random-chaotic side for the gamers, and too complicated for those who just want a fast and fun dexterity game.

Nice chips.

I like the concept of this game. And it plays out fairly well. I just don't like the collectable facet, as it gets expensive! I'm a bit of a sucker though, when it comes to games I want to play (if they are collectible), I go all out. Clout was not spared my purchasing wrath. I have a near full set and a lot of "decks" to play with. But, now that I think of it...where are they? I seem to have lost (or misplaced) a lot of my games.

Interesting and quirky fun, but not great at this point (after two plays.) I want to play some more to get a feel of how the different faction powers work and to figure out viable strategies. So far I've played Elves and Dragons and liked the Dragons better.

Make sure to use a small play area so that there is a good chance of the chips interacting. The game works pretty well when chips are landing close together and lots of powers are activating.

It gets a bonus point for being fast. And although there are a crapton of chips available, the starters appear perfectly playable and can be easily carried around in your pockets or tucked into the corner of your game night box.

I don't really have "guilty pleasures." If I like something, I like it, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. But if I were to feel such a thing, this game would probably be it. I can see the Eurogamers now, bloodshot eyes peering out from behind mounds of brown cubes, taking deep, gasping breaths after the always exciting "Animal Byproduct Bonus Scoring Round", pointing and scoffing at the dorks tossing pirate and dragon chips around. But guess which group is having more fun?

Interesting chip flipping game with a fantasy theme. You can customize your stack, but a well laid strategy will be bunk if you can't keep the chips you throw in play and where you need them. So, a mix between dexterity and strategy required. A nice change of pace game.

Seems like a fun game after a few plays. The price of the boosters and the rarity distribution really make it hard to love the game though. It's cheaper to collect playsets of Magic: the Gathering current blocks than it is to collect a playset of Clout.

I thought the mechanics were a blast. Not only did you want to create a good stack to use in the game, but you also needed the ability to flip them into the right place. The collectible aspect, in my opinion, was poorly done. 2-pog boosters is just an awful way of doing things. Gag. Still, I'd love to see this game make a comeback!
