Played a few times (with 4 players). An enjoyable risk management game with an interesting way to use dice. It might be a bit too long, but still ok.

[Tilsit 05 edition] {Fantasy, treasure hunt; luck-pressing, simultaneous-action, dice-rolling, utility cards; optimal 5p} It's a game that I prefer: light party game, thematic, interactive, luck pressing and interesting arts. It's very fun to look at the results of dice and watch who is burnt.

Players control a team of 4 adventurers to explore a dragon lair to gather treasures. Each adventurer has different speed and fire resistance. Each turn, the dragon protecting the lair will blast and a Seer will have an idea how strong and big the blast will be. With this piece of information, each player sends one of his adventurers to the lair to collect treasures. The player can also equip the adventurer a magic item to have special effects such as double-collection, faster speed, etc. If the blast is too strong and too big, some adventurers may burn into ashes! Who collects the most treasure is the winner.

It is in the same family of Diamant but it is slightly more complicated due to the magic items and breath rolls. It also has a random game end. It does not suffer from the run-away leader problem in Diamant. It's luck-depending and has some kinds of sitting order problem. (e.g. if the next breath is of min intensity and min range, nearly every play will try to send the fastest adventurer to the lair and the order is resolved by player order. Assuming no magic card is used, then the first and last player will have 4 difference in collection. Therefore, wise use of the magic items and luck are very important.) It can be a game for the next level up for players who like Diamant.

However, it's expensive (around USD25 with 54 cards, 21 tokens, 3 dice, 1 board, ...) it's not available from German/US game stores. The graphics are nice. The board is very thin, far from the quality of Kosmos games. Besides, the score track is too small to hold the scoring markers.

[House rule] We find that it's more exciting if an adventurer is scorched when the intensity is larger than * or equal to * the fire resistance of the adventurer.

Cute & simple. basically if you are first to play you have choices, but if you are last you simply place your piece in the only remaining space. Still, it was fun and only took about 20 minutes with instructions.

This is a nice filler game, not the game of the year, but interresting. The scoring seems off, there is so little difference in the values that almost every games I've played, the end score was tight. No matter how good someone played.

Light party game which relies heavily on the ability to "read" your opponent and anticipate what their move will be - like in Poker or Shifumi. There's a heavy dose of luck involved (so beginners can easily catch up) but it's sufficiently well balanced so that strategy does have an impact on the outcome.
One big complain regarding the game elements: the points counter is not very legible and should have been separated from the main board.

Fast and furious filler, but only if played with 4-5 players. Otherwise it becomes quite empty. nice bits, except for the board, a little thin and with a small scoring pad. My recommendation is to always put the "game end" card about at the middle of the dragon deck.

A little longish for a risk taking game of that depth, but always amusing too see other players getting BBQed.

Funny filler that should not be taken too seriously. Suits the same mood as Diamant, but I like Diamant better, because it has less downtime and less rules. The cartoony artwork of RHSD is great for drawing people to the tabel though. Shame about the scoretrack, which is indeed much too puny to fit the score markers. Wanted to like the game more that I did while playing it for the first time with five players, but it might still grow on me. Still, everyone at the table agreed that it is a charming little title.

Decent card game, that is not too long and involves some risk management. Colourful theme and presentation. I like that the characters are not your generic fantasy-questing stereotypes.

A filler where your characters try to enter the dragons cave and gain as much gold as possible. If you go too far with too little armor then you get burned alive. You have some info as you roll 3 dices and know if the dragon's breath strenght/length is the lowest, middle or highest of the rolled. As you can guess that isn't always enough of information so most of the fun of the game comes from misery of other players.

Decent push-your-luck game. Some interesting strategy/decision in selecting which hero to send to the dragon and if/whether to use a magical item. I found that the strength of the fire was the main factor in making the decision however, and the distance of the breath was rarely a factor, if at all. Maybe this would change with more players.

Push-your-luck filler with nice artwork and repetitive gameplay.
The magic items offer some decisions and add a bit of variety.
