The orginal Blokus is great, but in Blokus Trigon it is too easy to with hexagons to get around people. Surprisingly not fun.

Preliminary rating. One play with two players. Piece familiarity is critical to enjoying blokus and the trigon angles are tricky to visualize. Processing complexity is much greater due to the 6 point intersections. Very difficult to actually block someone in or control their motion. I'm a little concerned about that aspect.

I played this yesterday. It was same as Gemblo. But It's not fun & not different from BLOKUS original. I think It's a crib.

Not as good as Gemblo and not that different from regular Blokus.

Not a fan of abstract games though can see it being accessible to new gamers.

I just don't like Trigon as much as the original game, and it's hard to explain why. It just seems easier to build escape routes for your pieces than the original. As for the original, I would not want to play with anything less than four players.

I'd rate it a "5" if BGG ratings didn't have accompanying descriptions. But the description for "4" is the best fit with how I feel about Blokus Trigon.

Fair. Scales better than Blokus (which isn't good with three). However the triangle-based pieces aren't as intuitive as nice Tetris-y squares. Overall, a wash.

Decent abstract family game. It doesn't really seem like there's much strategy to it until near the end though.
