I own the very oldest of copies of this game. I see none in pictures on Board Game Geek that can compare to the game I have, i do see one that sorta looks like it but the board is not exactly the same. My game was purchased at a yard sale by a family member for me. This game is one of the best family games in history to play I think. You can sit down and play this game with a 6 year old whom more then likely can get the concept of the game. The game lives up to it's name. This game not good to play with any one whom can't take a joke and a have a little fun. If your an adult and want to invite some other adult friends over to play, It's great to sit back drink a bear or two and munch down on some chips and play. The game is a one of a kind game.

This one will always be associated with my Grandmother with whom I played this as a child and continued to play with her as an adult every time I went home. And I rarely won. Bested nearly every time I played. Sadly, she passed away on April 17, 2013. Love and miss you always Grandma.

Best with 4P, 5P, 6P
The only roll and move game I will play - because I still have options! We always start with one marble on the base to get things going. Much better than having to wait for a one or a six.

Board made by Grandpa in the 50's. Rating is kind of skewed since this is a classic in my family. While not a very deep game, I still enjoy playing it with family members.

A simple classic - nothing but a die, a board with holes in it, and a pile of marbles. A wonderful game that is better the more people you have playing at a time. I made a point of buying the version with the "classic" asterisk-shape-on-black-background board.

I own 4 copies of Aggravation:
1. Garage sale game, $0.50, summer of 2014. "Deluxe Aggrevation", my second copy now.
2. Garage sale 2-sided board, missing the marbles and die. One side plays 4, the other plays 6. No centre hole, and only 3 holes wide (instead of 5) on each end.
3. A copy made by Grandpa Etling. Wooden, 4 player, no centre hole.
4. The original one I played, and now own. I was riding in the truck with Grandma and Grandpa Ferster and Cecil Riegert, driving home from P.A. to Canwood, in about 1976(?), when Cecil and I spied this new game of Aggravation in Grandma's shopping bag at our feet. We simultaneously asked her "Can we play Aggravation?" She had been trying to surprise us, so she punished us by making us wait an extra hour or so before we could play. We had played lots of Trouble together before that, and Aggravation wasn't much different.

By far my favourite version of this game was introduced to me as "Clang" in about 2005, by Mark Ramage, a Saskatoon firefighter. It uses a deck of cards instead of rolling a die - a much better mechanic for the game. I love that variant! Individual or partner play. I introduced this to some non-game-players at New Years Eve in 2013 though, and it did not go over well at all!

We have a custom made board. This is a family favorite and we play cutthroat - usually men vs women... Dice fly... Luck based game but the way we play in teams adds to the enjoyment.

Brightly-colored marbles must make their way around this just-as-colorful board in a manner similar to Sorry and Trouble. Skip ahead if you roll the right number!

I somehow managed to never have played this growing up. My girlfirend's family introduced me to it and I now have an addiciton. It is random movement with very light strategy and a srew your neigbor mechanic. A classic that I love to play.

Fun with the family. Played this as a kid. We use 3 regular sized marbles and one giant marble called Bertha. You don't want Big Bertha to knock you out.

This game gets a 7 on nostalgia alone, and a bonus point for being just as fun as I remembered it after I picked up a vintage copy recently. YES YES, we all know it's milk and cookies for the real gaming crowd, but everyone needs to kick up their heels every so often, and send their over-cerebral friends back to homebase in a whirlwind of fuss and bluster.
