I bought it because on the box it said "From the creators of Sequence", a game I had recently enjoyed. This is not nearly as good as sequence, but still an anjoyable and easy to learn game. If you can play solitaire, you can play this one.

This has become a favorite of my kids. At their age (6,7,8), it has just the right amount of strategy for them to really get into. Note, that you don't really need to buy the contraption, but it does help keep the cards organized.

Fun game. Adds some things to the game that I remember playing (with just cards) when I was a kid in the 1970s: A plastic central piece for the cards played and the draw deck, and chips that you use to "ante up" at the start of each hand (one chip per player) and use to "pay" for drawing a card at the end of a turn when one cannot play and/or move any cards. Lost my first game 105 (Mr. Billington) to 48 (me). Definitely want to play it again, but with more than 2 players. Incomplete game today (7-3-2012) with Noelle. We're tied so far at 14-14. Still think it'd be better with 3+ players.

You don't need this version to play Kings in the Corner. This set does come with cards, counting chips and a nice tray for the cards. I like this simple card game that is easy to learn.

This is group solitaire. The game is fun and light. A good alternative to take to see my family and play around the dinning room table. Not much of a game for my gaming buddies.

A light multiplayer version of solitaire. It's a social game, not one of skill, in the same vein as Sequence and for that purpose it works well. Playing for any other reason would be pointless.

I used to play this game with a regular deck of cards. We played without the fancy plastic card holder and without chips - first to discard all cards wins. I remember it being fun, although I doubt I'll ever be playing this again.

I've played many times before February 22nd, 2008, however it's been years. Taught in 2min, played in 30min for two players. There is a bit of strategy in this, however it's more about the luck of the cards you are dealt, etc. Our goal was to be the first to 10 points counting only the opponents cards in their hand at the end as points. Deal all players 7 cards and place four cards around the draw deck. Start player places cards on top of four cards (like solitaire; red/black/etc). Players must always play Kings immediately in their hand at start on their turn or when drawling them at the end of their turn. Kings go in the corners. Cards can be moved from four starting position to other positions if they meet the red/black criteria. Any open spot can be filled with any card from your hand. First one to go out wins the hand and gets points equal to opponents' cards. It's a quick enough filler to play and can be played with standard deck so no purchase is necessary.
