Easy and very nice for 4 players. What I like most is that all players think they will win right to the last second of the game. So it is fun for all 4 players and not like in so much other boardgames only for the leading ones.

Inkognito is currently sweeping my circle of gaming friends, and they're all becoming addicted to it one by one. It's not quite like any game I've ever played, and I feel that it deftly blends elements common to other games in a unique and interesting way. Many critics claim that the missions are unbalanced; but while some missions are admittedly more difficult than others, this has never presented itself as the sole reason why one team has won over another. All in all, the concept, theme, and above all the blatant paranoia experienced by all players make this one of my clear favorites.

This game is just fantastic! First time I played it, it took me 20 minutes to find out what our mission was, the second game about 1 hour and a half. If after an hour people still ask for Identity cards it starts to get really funny. The new version by Winning Moves also has rules for a 3 player version.

This includes many mechanics, which I like in games. Co-operativiness and deduction comes first to my mind and of course theme. Cover of the box is the one of the best ones.

Lots of fun, great theme and great player interaction. Breaks down terribly if someone makes a mistake. Victory conditions are a bit unbalanced - relatively high luck factor.

It's a fun little deductive logic game. It's a partnership game, but you don't know who your partner is. You try to figure out your partner and your team's goal, and then meet the goal. Update 2014/09/20: Played the new edition for the first time. I was annoyed by the differences, but it's okay when you get used to it. Seems like the cards are harder to tell apart. I'm not sure what I think of the new marble distribution in the nunzilla.

This one just got me from the first time I played it. I like deduction games in general, but this is the first game I've played in a while that actually felt tense to me. The unknown partnership feature is unique and interesting. This is not to say it's without its faults: aside from the usual pitfalls of deduction games (player error in showing cards or tracking answers), the movement mechanic can totally starve out some players, and the pictures on the cards could be a bit more distinctive (it's easy to confuse skinny and tall, or short and fat, for example). Overall, I found it interesting and well worth playing.

Very interesting game. I like how you need to figure out whether to trust people, and then when you've found your partner you try to work against the other team. It also reminds me of Die Kutschfahrt zur Teufelsburg.

Classic deduction game playable only by three or four, but that yields fun in spades when it's opened and no player makes a mistake (intentionally or not).

The blend of deduction and team work is superb, since it's quite easy to mislead other players giving the right (or wrong, depending on your view) cards or asking another player very often (a secret plot going?). Some rounds a player even stood up to shake hands with the partner and nobody else did.

Besides, Inkognito is one of the games with the most intense atmosphere ever - the lovely game materials display Venice outstandingly, and the mixture of gestures in silence and frequently very devious play is exhilarating.

Identify your partner and fulfill the task.
Only little luck but lots of analytical thinking helps to solve this game.
To me, it can be a lot of fun! It can be very annoying, if your partner doesn't focus or doesn't get it!
The game material is great, the idea of the mask instead of dice is just precious and unique

Had a blast with this one... turns out each side knew who their partners were fairly quickly; but one side knew how to achieve their mission quicker.

One turn from Fiddlebottom getting to #7, my son called out my fat man... and Bubble snickered as he admitted he was a wee bit portly, but, alas, he was not Lord F.

One of the greatest deduction game of all time! One of the best semi-cooperative games of all time! The level of player interaction is very high. The theming of Inkognito is just fantastic! Gotta love the nun cell phone. PLEEZE make sure, though, that the players you're playing with UNDERSTAND the rules for showing cards; AND, make sure (from your previous gaming experience with them) that they play honestly! A violation of either of these principles would utterly destroy the game. And, I believe, it MUST be played with four, not three, players (haven't tried it yet with the new five-player variant). An extremely tense end game!

The missions aren't so well-balanced, and it seems like luck plays a large role in the deduction process (ask the right person the right question, and you can figure out who's who in a couple of turns; but if you don't, it may take several), but... this game is just plain fun! It doesn't take too long, so you can play it again, and there's a lot of satisfaction in figuring out who your partner is and getting the mission done.

Good components, excellent theme. It doesn't require particular tactics, but it's pure fun (even with 3 players)! I cannot describe the sensation when two players accomplish their common mission while the others haven't any clue about who their partners are! A bit of attention (and of honesty) is required when passing the card, otherwise the game can be spoilt.

If you aren't wowed by the production value of this boardgame you have no soul. This easily wins for the coolest pieces and playing tool ("Psycho Nun") along with a downright gorgeous board.

I think that the game itself is nice. A neat deduction game where you control the information that you give to other players. I like the potential for bluff. Perhaps "Dastardly Dan" is a bit too powerful, but who cares I enjoyed the experience.

I can't imagine playing this in card game form. While the game play is neat. At its core I don't know how great a game it is, but the experience of playing this on a board with these pieces, plus the cool endgame condition, makes this a winner in my book.

Beautiful game, the idea of having to find your partner is a great one! Players must be careful not to give away wrong information, since that can really spoil the game. There is some luck involved and that can be frustrating, but the atmosphere makes up for it. And even if it does not plays fast (more than one hour), players will hardly be able to tell! It is a pity that it only works with exactly 4 players.
