Plenty of fun had playing Galactic War as a lad. I remember Space Pirates as well, but not the other two.

Had this game as a kid, played Space Pirates and Deadly Planet. Ok kids games, but not as interesting as the Knights one.

Not my favorite of the Series, but a decent foray into the SiFi genre.

Good introductory wargames for young people; sadly today we can't find nothing similar. The whole series brings nostalgic reminds, but the one-page rules could have been better. Galactic War (the best game in this book) in particular needs some clarifications.

I remember playing Deadly Planet as a kid. Love the idea of an alien race called the Vegans. ah, the 1970s.

Not impressed with this book at all. The games didn't have a good feel to them.

Café Race is a race game set in a business office. The players take the role of office workers going upstairs to the first floor to get a cup of coffee who then improvise a race while they are going back downstairs… with a cup full of coffee.

I really enjoyed Galactic War despite suffering a very lengthy string of defeats by my brother (see his review where he is kind enough not to mention that he won the vast majority of those 30 or more games of it we played).

Totally a nostalgia thing. These were in my elementary school library, and I used to check them out obsessively.

Wouldn't have thought to find this book here. What do you know... Haven't actually played the games included. But they looked rather interesting back then, especially "Deadly Planet". Still, no idea how to rate it.

A slim book (magazine really) for youngsters about science fiction and the possible future of man's exploration of space. Includes four different cut-and-paste mini-games.
