1936 Capitol Novelties/Parker Brothers hybrid version.
1992 Chessex version.

This is an excellent add-on to Monopoly. The buying and selling of stocks perfectly complements the real estate acquisition of the original game.
And best of all, it totally eliminates all the Free Parking house rule nonsense. Now a permanent addition to both my vintage and modern copies of Monopoly..

Interesting "official" addition to the game that adds more railroad-like producing 'stocks' into the game.

Nothing exists; all is a dream. God -- man -- the world -- the sun, the moon, the wilderness of stars -- a dream, all a dream; they have no existence. Nothing exists save empty space -- and you! And you are not you -- you are but a thought.

MONOPOLY
STOCK EXCHANGE ADD-ON
I'll never play 'Monopoly' again without this add-on. It makes the game a bit more interesting. The stocks are all interesting and have the same art deco style as the original game.

Believe it or not, this makes Monopoly more playable! It does so by disrupting the zer-sum mechanics which can lead to runaway leaders in the original game. Check it out if you haven't.

Great add-on -- prevents arguments about bonus money for Free Parking.

As I recall, even with the Chance and Community Chest cards to send players to the Stock Exchange, we felt the number of stocks a player could actually acquire in a game was woefully low. By upping the number of stocks you could buy on the rare occasion of landing on the Stock Exchange, we enjoyed this expansion quite a bit more. In addition, the values of the stocks, in comparison to your likelihood to gather them up, makes them fairly insignificant by the time you have to worry about paying $2000 on Boardwalk. I love the concept, though.

I understand the weakness of this expansion now that I know that the version I bought in the 1990s was veritably untweaked from the original (of which I was ignorant) published in 1936.

I used to like this a lot more. It's fine, but it adds length and a little more chance to the whole thing. Two things you don't need in that game.

I picked this up right before I began to realize that I didn't really enjoy playing Monopoly. I used it twice, maybe three times. Mostly id added needless complication to what is already an over long game.

Pleasant addition for those who are tired (but not *too tired*) of Monopoly. It is a prefered alternative to putting $500 on Free Parking.

Made my own copy. Versions to work with both regular board and Mega Monopoly Board. Have yet to find anyone to actually play Monopoly with (hard part, but not trying real hard) that is willing to add this in.
