A fun game, Betrayal at House on the Hill has significantly improved thanks to the errata. The game element can be overshadowed by the flavour and random elements, but my friends like this game even more than I do and are delighted when I bring it along to a gaming session.
A game that suffers markedly from the way it was packaged. In fact it's not a bad CCG, but suffered from an incomprehensible rulebook and poor distribution. I've been playing it online for several years, and have found it to be much better than I first thought it was.
Fast, simple and extremely enjoyable, the simplicity of the basic rules belies the complexity that can be added by scenarios, special abilities and terrain. A very good miniatures game in its own right, with the added attraction of being a useful supplement to the RPG.
