Changed rating from a 4 to a 2 only for the extra characters you get for other Games in the Universe which is really the only reason to purchase this game. Quality is very high as usual for Fantasy Flight Games, but the game is completely broken as is. FF managed to update the components only. The game is broken out of the box, you can and will die faster than it takes to set the game up. Any game where you have a high chance of dying on the first turn is completely broken and untested. I'm surprised Fantasy Flight actually spent time and money to update and publish this and again in a revised edition (like most of there games that come out now) without bothering to fix core problems with the game.
Broken as is. Games usually keep going in endless loops due to the Cat's Eye rule. A variant makes it more playable. You can find this less than $5 usually, Some good points is you can customize the track however you want, cool bits.
Pick a corner on each of the cards, put those two corners together and see who has higher score showing through the holes. I'd compare this to just rolling dice, high score wins. Beautiful art though on the cards.
Simple roll and move game. Race your horse to the finish while making successful jump rolls for the fences. A roll of 6 makes the jump and sprint forward the full 6 spaces, a roll of 4-5 makes the jump to the other side, a roll of 2-3 doesn't make the jump, move back 1 to try again next turn, 1 makes jump but you lose turn as you fell off your horse. Kid friendly but not entertaining enough to see any play. A nice tin and history is included with each game.
Roll a compass die and a number die each turn, move accordingly. You must move in the direction of the compass die or your stuck (no wind). A lighthouse or (1) will allow you to move in any direction you choose, roll the number die again to choose how far to move. Cool theme but is worth owning more for the novelty. As always a nice Tin and History is included with each game.
