A simple roll and move game. Move your train around the map collecting loads (mail, timber, steel, etc) and delivering them back the starting station. You can only hold 4 loads at a time. The first to collect all loads and have them delivered is the winner. You must move the amount on the die and cannot move backward and forward on the same turn and you must land on exact count for the load you want to collect and for your home station, this would cause you to plan your route carefully as you could derail or force your opponent to derail likewise thus losing your loads on board. The better of the Channel Craft games. A nice Tin and History is included with each game.
I can't believe how a game (Is there a game here?) could have such nice components, but turn out to be so boring. Absolutely no replay value. You know what rings trigger what events. This is nothing more than a 3-D interpretation of the movie. High score for quality of components.
I had this game in my collection for years and never played it. We never came close to guessing any of the slang words they had listed. Most of the slang words we never heard of before. Definately didn't stand the test of time. Don't think playing it in the 90's would have made any difference.
There's actually a game here. A simple roll and move game of Exploration on Mars. You either lose or gain food, water or oxygen or collect modules (solor generator's, greenhouse's, living quarters, ect) to complete your Colony. Very simplistic.
