Great expansion if you want some more depth in the game. This expansion makes sure that you choose a strategy in the beginning instead of adapting every turn. Recommended if you have +10 plays of the base game.
A lot of luck involved but the games are fast and fun. Always hilarious when someone fails to pour something from the bottle for the third time. Good game to play with non gamers or gamers in the mood for a quickie
This expansion brings a whole new dynamic to the game of Agricola. Now it isn't the battle for wood anymore but clay Also the multiple major investments, the warming of your house and the special actions bring new strategies to be explored.
Only played variant 2, I don't think we'll play variant 3
The original fighters, extra chunky, mega chunky, ultra chunky, and the 6 SE fighters. Bought everything from Nick, great quality.
Fun game, can be used as a quick filler or a lengthy game depending on the number of fighers each player uses. This game can easily be played with 2 to 6 (and even more) players. With a large player group the max number of fighters should be set to 2 (else some people wont have a lot of play time when their fighters are all dead)
Fun card game. I like it a lot because it brings back memories from my Magic days. My wife liked it, but prefers Ticket to Ride or Agricola. She isn't that much into card games so I don't think dominion will see a lot of play time.
Fragor games does it again. A gorgeous game with good gameplay. Flying those dragons around is fun Medium difficulty, not for beginner gamers but people used to Ticket to Ride and Carcassonne should get the hand of it rather quckly.
Nice filler game. The rules could have been a bit better but after one play and a quick check of the forums everything was clear. Surprising tough decisions for such a small game. Plays in about 15 minutes, an ideal filler or for when you just want a quick game but not too brainless.
One of the better microgames out there. Lot of player interaction and decission making packed in a few cards and tokens. Don't expect the next civilization here, but for a micro game this one packs a lot of punch.
Nice little Print and Play game. Easy to build, not much printing, but a good challenge.
The first round might be a bit boring in the beginning, but when those zombies start comming in big hordes the difficulty begins. The second round is harder and gives a good challenge for players that like moving puzzles (think Tetris with exploding and burning parts).
Got this from my Secret Dice Tower Santa 2011, Thanks !
Love the game play. It has the problem of a runaway leader, but that makes sure you pay attention from the first minute. Be warned: math heavy (lot's of adding of numbers) so a good exercise for the brains.
Fun wargame, ideal for starting the game evening or during lunch. Not hard to explain since the rules aren't that difficult.
I advise that, before playing, you first read through the rules section here on BGG. A lot will be clearer then.
This game might be to light for a hardcore wargamer but offers a lot of variety and fun for all the rest of us. Replayability is high thanks to the fact that you can make different decks and the creator made several scenarios.
Good game if you're in my age category and the people playing with you also know a lot about the 90s.
You can also use the cards for a drinking game: - Put the cards on top of a filled glass. - Now each player has to blow some cards of the deck. - If you fail to blow cards of the deck or you blow the last card of the deck you get the bonus round. - Bonus round: the person sitting next to you asks a question from the last card. - If you answer wrong you have to drink the glass in one time. - If you get it correct you can assign someone else to drink it.
Great game with a loth of depth. It will take at least 2 games before being able to formulate a good strategy. This game offers a lot of options and stays exciting untill the end. Excellent theme, the mechanics and the theme blend perfectly. Highly recommended !
