simple push-your-luck game

Clever and not too complex.

Feels very very hard and restricting. Maybe because I usually play 2-players.

Roll and move. Not much decision. Amused me as a kid, but novelty wears off quickly.

Simple and fast game with some push-your-luck element. A little strategising, but not much. To be played light-heartedly.

Rules a bit fiddly, but the game works. You need to pay attention to all aspects of the game - power plants upgrading, securing resources, connecting cities - and at the same time optimising your expenditure and earnings. Needs planning ahead. After each game that I lose, I can think back and determine exactly why I lost.

Roll and move game for children, i.e. lots of luck. Nice graphics and flavour. Some "take that" element. Fun to land on Secret Message squares and see what card is drawn, even though some may be bad events.

Makes me very tense. Still feel I cannot fully grasp the strategies.

Seems simple on the surface. Tricky to balance and evaluate various ways of scoring.

Fun, light-hearted game. Good for parties and children.

Good party activity, but don't play too many times (max 3). Recommend 10-14 players (excluding the moderator). I have only played the basic version - 2 werewolves, 1 seer, & villagers.

It's good and clever, but too much thinking for my liking. Not easy, so it can be very rewarding to play well.
