A cute game to pass a little time. Short enough to be a filler, but involved enough to scratch that itch.

I just don't enjoy "elimination" games... but this one is slightly broken.

better for 4 players. scales well for 2, not at all for 3

A little too complex and a little too long for my taste.

I like this more than the original. It's a bit shorter, and the randomness of building availability increases the replay value.

This is a much lighter game than it would appear from looking at the board and setup. I was pleasantly surprised.

I play this online all the time, but I haven't yet convinced any real people to play.

Not my thing, but Wifey is a high-school teacher, and her kids love it.

Not a bad game, as far as the mechanics go. But there was no tension, no drama, not much to keep us interested.

I'm dying to play this, but I can't convince any of my friends. I say that about a lot of games. I wonder if it's me... *snif*

Another one I bought "just to have" because I'm a bit of a collector, but Mathgirl and a lot of our friends really enjoy this one.

There is much more "game" here than you would expect by the name and box art.

I'm not sure why this game is rated so low. It's a fun little filler. Be sure to add a dash of role-playing. "Ah, yes, the ball-bearings are just the thing I need to attach to my crowbar."

I guess I'm not enough of a Python-head to enjoy the zaniness of the game. But my friends liked it a lot.

Fun game for a while, but drags on too long. Most of the fun is in the role-playing in-jokes.

I was so desparate for GeekGold that I bought this game for the sole purpose of adding it to the database. But I've played this solo a few times and it's pretty good, but a little high on errors.

Very Caylus-y but lighter.

I think I like this game so much because it has a much lower screw-your-buddy factor; losing this game is much more based on my poor planning and strategy than on bad luck or getting screwed.

It seems the games I like most are the ones that nobody else in my group wants to play. But I think the variants -- particularly where every player starts with a company -- add a lot to this game.

This one is on long-term loan to my wife's sister.

Audience in Rome seemed completely arbitrary, but the Offices of Honor added a new twist to the game.

I'm very disappointed that they took out the "throw away a route if you can't continue it" mechanic. To me, that was an integral part of the strategy and decision-making. Plus the expanded game is longer than the original, because at least one person must always play all 20 post offices. There is no longer a quick-victory-seven-carriage option. Given the choice, I'll stick with the original.

The stations make a huge difference. Having a second chance at completing tickets that are blocked make TTRE much more enjoyable.

I played this recently and won in two rounds, having lost no points while two opponents fell off the score track. I'm told that another game the day before had a winner after just one round. Either my friends really stink, or this isn't as balanced as it's American sister.

However, in spite of all those who say it's "just like TransAmerica", it's a very different strategy, and the game is different enough to warrant having (or at least playing) both.

Much better for 2 players than the full-sized version.

I don't usually like elimination games like Bang! or Werewolf, but this one is quick enough to overcome that.

Similar to Princes of Florence, but a lot lighter.

Trivia ... Gambling ... two great tastes that taste great together!

All I really needed was a fifth set of brokers. Haven't tried the extra cards yet. At first glance, the "events" look like they add more complexity than is needed.

Much more of a decision-making game than a pure strategy game. And the camels are really cute.

I don't think we'll like these.
