2nd Edition white and blue bought at Target $22. My sister has 1st edition which is light grey and blue. Difference as far as I could tell is the buttons and also has a blue backlight so it's easier to read compared to the first edition which doesn't have a backlight. It has 10,000 words/phrases and not sure how many the 1st edition has. It's fun to play with family members...wouldn't suggest pulling this out at game night though.
Would be an awesome game if there wasn't too much randomness. Definitely had the makings to be a great game with the scoring mechanisms. This is a much better game 2 players and probably is a 6 but with 3 or 4 players it's a crap game.
Decent game where you play all make sets of 2 to 6 with all being the same color or different color OR all being the different color and different shape OR all being different color and same shape. I think I got them all.
More strategic than one would think. I like it...considering buying it sometime in the future perhaps. I like playing this on littlegolem.net and that I give it an 8. When playing against the AI on yourturnmyturn.com I give it a 7. When playing face to face I give it a 7 because it's takes a bit of time. I think if I can get my wife to practice on the computer she'd enjoy it more face to face.
I like the conflict resolution. I'm glad I got a chance to try it. Let's see you can take out their Cortex (brain), Left Arm, Right Arm or Movement ability. Can cast some wizard spells with focus points, etc.
At first liked it, then thought not great, then liked it again. Definitely requires the right crowd just like Werewolf does. After repeated plays it's ok but not sure if I'll hang on to it anymore though. Jan 2007 gave my copy away.
definitely not going over too well with the newbies I've introduced it to. I like it though. Update: ok played it with 3 groups of players and it's not going over well at all. Refreshing use of the dice but not too much going on. Oh well.
