This is a great area control, resource management game with a card driven order system which everyone really enjoys. Well done to the designers.

One of my favorite fantasy adventure roleplay games that I thought was designed quite well. It uses D12 and has exploration, treasure and monster matrix tables that you role on. So the game could be played without a GM/DM. The combat system works good but not everyone that I introduced the game too enjoyed it. The game had a definit appeal to me since it followed in the footsteps of Heroquest another fantasy dungeon game I am very fond of.

Not a bad expansion, added a few dungeon rooms and lots of extra rules.

Cool mechanics, nice components but the game play is a bit to simple and repetitive. Can't see much replayability, shame, expensive game.

Not a bad little flight game, great mini's from Forgeworld or use the ones from Epic which we do and works just fine.

Had a good read of the rules and does have similar mechanics as War of the Ring but also has many differences to make it unique. I was worried that it may be to similar to WotR but not so, either way I will pick this up. I am a huge fan of the designers and FFG products.
Had our first game with 3 of us and went quite well. One player went more for the intrigue and made the surrounding provinces friendly while acquiring wealth, I did more campaigns and the 3rd player did a bit of both. Conan switched players quite often.

So far everyone seems to enjoy this game quite a bit. Some resource management along with thinking ahead on your next move makes for thoughtful game. Nice components too.

This is a very cool game and although there is quite a bit of luck involved with combat and uncertainty of which armies you should be keeping on the board, it has a good flow to it.

Very nice components, plays well has a really unique feel to it but the combat structure could use some work.

So far only one play since I finally recieved the english edition thanks to Z-Man games pre-order. Love it already, played with five of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for the next. So much to consider in this game, how best to feed the family, which occupation and improvements to establish. The Major improvements are very important to success.
Tried 2 player with wife and wow that's a fast game. End result was 1 point to -2!

Nice little game using some luck of dice rolling and a bit of card management.

A dice fest with lots of options for placement. Ok with 2 players. Chaotic with 6 players. Recommend 4.

All these look interesting, hope to try them out soon.

Really enjoy playing this game because of the variety of steps in each turn and I like Egyptian themes.

After one play so far, two player, I really enjoyed the mechanics and theme of this game. Will be playing plenty more to try and work out some strategies. 3 player game was also great.

Finally got to play and it's awesome, great game mechanics, lots of options and beautiful production, Another quality FFG product and fantastic design by Kevin Wilson. A lot went into this game so there is a lot to get from it. Endless hours of playability and diverse roads to gaining victory points. Will be playing this lots.
Played again and gets better every time. Fantastic game, love the possibilities with each character and how you affect others with the Twilight cards. An expansion will be so easy for this game, giving one new characters with unique plots, new crimes and new supsects. The game board might be static but still has enough locations for good variety. Can't wait to play again, raised my rating to 10 for production, theme and game mechanics.
Played 2,3,4 and 5 players and loved it everytime and so did everyone else.

We always enjoy playing this game and best with 4 or 5 players.

Its a lot of fun, easy rules. Also great with only 2 players. Will play plenty more times.

Played one 5 player game so far and really enjoyed it, really want to play it some more and will try a 2 player game and see how it is.

Awesome game with excellent components, great cooperative play and endless combination of game effects. I really enjoy playing this one and give it a high rating for replayability.

Great mini tabletop gaming rules, clear and fairly detailed. Excellent miniature and although pre-painted can easily be painted over but not neccessary. Rackham done fine job on this futuristic game.

Great new army for AT-43 with many strengths, high accuracy and rate of fire plus every weapon has one or more rerolls. The army has a strong morale only ever having to make a check when there is only one member of a squad left over and all AFV's are fearless. Certain heroes and specialist are able to bring a level 1 AFV into play, added to the army. They also have access to medics to save a model from being eliminated and mine layers as well. Over all a very powerful army with only minor weakness's, high cost so will be out numbered most of the time and can't take cover saves unless they are given the Take Cover combat drill. Other then that they include many versitile units with jump packs, sniper guns, lots of jammers and some indirect weapons. Last but not least they are also fairly good in combat.

The Karmans are a pretty cool army, gorillas in power suits smoking cigars. They are a unique army to play, small units, skimmers for vehicles and some great weaponry.

I own the book but not the army.

Therians seem to be the most powerful army in AT-43 and can really dish it out and take it as well. Very cool concept and fantastic minis.

I like the UNA, lots of troops available to the army. Great minis, love the wing troopers and the walkers.

One of the best campaign systems we have used for a mini game to date. This is definitely a strength for Rackham and I hope they put more of these out in the future.

Kind of a race to place game. First to finish 4 different elements. Card draw can be hindering.

Played with 2 players so far, was easy going and fun to play, simple rules but allows for some suttle strategies.
Even better with 3 or 4 players.

Not as good as the other in the series (Java, Tikal, Mexica). I like the theme but the game mechanics leave much to be desired.

Fairly cool prepaint, WWII miniature strategy game. Don't really care for the collectable element of the game, so limited to the untis I have available.

Great wargame and although it only shows 2 plays that's since I signed up with BGG, I played all three of the Wargames series dozens of times when they were first released back in 1992.

Simple but fun and a great game by a great designer, Stephen Baker, same guy who did one of my other favorite games, Hero Quest.

This game is Warmaster but with Lord of the Rings armies and minis. Love Warmaster so give this one a high rating too since the rules are basically identical. Great plastic minis, lots of stuff in the box.

Well its great to see a game with simple mechanics, cool miniatures and a fun concept to just throw down and play. I really have a blast playing this game. Again another masterpiece from Stephen Baker.

One of the best Space simulated tabletop miniature games.

Lots of new ships for a great space combat game. I have most of the fleets from this expansion, Tau, Necrons, Tyranids, Demierg and Orks.

Owned but haven't played yet.

As with Memior 44 but better and more variety, fantastic game. Still luck plays a huge factor with the cards you draw and the dice rolls. We have had games with one winning by quite a margin but thats luck for you. I like the added Lore feature but again this can lopside the game somewhat so as long as you're ok with it.

This plays a like a strategy area control game including army building and combat. I like the style of play and we try and play this every once in a while because it can be fairly long.

First game was awesome, although only 3 players still love the ebb and flow of the system. Looks like 5 - 6 players is optimum but ok with 4, 3 player is alright but I would probably play something else instead.

This is a geat expansion.

A typical Knizia game, move pawns ,collect and find.

Very much like Kingdoms but with a better theme and the mutiple boards are a nice addition.

Moving around and developing the board is the best part of the game. So far most players don't think the haunt is all that interesting.
Going to bring this to the table again soon. I can't believe the price this game is catching on ebay, it's ok but not worth some of the amounts I've seen?

Very similar to the Talisman concept, you must go around the board which is randomly selected and gain strengths so you can defeat Makuta. Fairly simple, looks good but not to much replayability.

Only played with 2 so far and quite like it. Will try with more players soon.

Copy of Space hulk with a little more detailed rules, not the best components but worth a play once in a while.

Just all around fun game to play, cool rules and excellent campaign system.

I will eventually get this to the table, still have a almost unpunched copy in perfect condition waiting to be played.

Lots of strategy, great artwork, good variety with the expansion races and good replayability since you can link games and create your own decks. After playing a few times I have increased my rating to 8.5. Another Riener piece of excellence.

Excellent game that I can play endlessly and the best is that it plays just as good with 2 players.

Great little game which for me has endless hours of enjoyment. We play it very cooperatively which keeps all the players very invovled throughout the game. This game can be played by almost anyone and even fairly young ages. A very good buy and a must have for any gamer.

So far this game has been very well accepted with everyone who has tried it and I will be bringing it to the table more often.

We prefer this over the regular game because it looks great and always use the City and Knights expansion.

What can I say Catan Yahtzee, sort of, easy fast and fun.

I really like the theme of this Catan, the board, the buildings and scoring. Something about it is very comforting?

With edition I have never looked back to basic Settlers accept if I am teaching the game to somebody new.

Played it alot more when it first came out but haven't really brough it back to the table in the new edition. We still prefer Cities and Knights.

Tiny Dungeon crawler type game, but is short and quick and not the greatest replayability. Nice components and simple rules. Better with 4 players. Love the second edition.

A very good game, although I have only played a few times it's only because so many new games are continously being released which makes it hard to find the time to play this one.

Very simple game of moving Druids along a path to the goal and acquiring amulet pieces. The one with the most completed amulet wins, easy to learn, fun with 2 players but better with more. Beautiful artwork makes it worthwhile for me.

Great game utilizing area control and elements of combat. The artwork is awesome and even the plastics figs are fairly nice although the Cultist little standards are way to thin and several of mine were broken when I opened the box.

My wife and I played this game constantly when we first got it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. A mix of Checkers and Chess a bit, interesting game, lots of fun.

Finally after having the game in the closet for months we played it and instantly it has become a favorite. Just plain great fun.

The 3rd Edition rules have been nicely cleaned up and the game is more enjoyable then ever. I love the rules for this game, they're very detailed with infinite options through spells and abilities from the numerous races (15 at present). It is a game more for the mature and the miniatures themselves are some of the best in the world.

Have played all previous editions and this new one has streamlined rules which are rather boring. Still tend to play Confrontation 3 which is unique and has some depth to game play. CAoR is AT-43 in a fantasy setting and the rules are almost identical. Rackham would have been better of keeping the two games dissimilar from each other.

Played this a few times when it first came out. Interesting concept.

Played it once with the wife, it's alright!

After one play I picked up the game because it was really refreshing to play Chess again but with a whole new feel to it. The components are great, well painted and the price is awesome. I like the mechanics of the Dragon pawn and the Banner bearer along with the restricted castle movement makes for an exciting game and good replayability.

A great game with many options to decide on everyone enjoys this one tremendously.

Ok, it's interesting but could go on forever since the other players can continously hinder each other so no-one can accomplish anything. May need a house rule or two.

Played with this 40K expansion for 2nd edition lots of times, really liked the psychic phase system and the added strategy cards.

This looks very intersting, can't wait to see more info.

Finally got my copy and it satifies many of my fantasy, quest and adventure gaming needs. Uses the same game system as Doom the board game but with better elements. So far after 6 plays I have found that the game leans haevily in favour for the Heroes to win, quite opposite to Doom the boardgame which uses a similar game system. I really like the product, minis, and game mechanicis but it needs a lot of tweeking in order for the Overlord to have any chance of winning the game. I as Overlord felt more like I was a spectator, placing minis on the board from turn to turn and throwing a few dice if and when any of the monsters survived the onslaught from the hugely kitted out heroes. So my rating went down to 7 because of some boredom issues for my part in the game. Back upto 8.

Well finally the expansion that adds the ultimate for a game such as Descent, the ongoing adventure of the heroes. I like the way the system has been developed and it works quite well, we will be enjoying the game much more frequently now. So far we are all very pleased with the expansion and the ongoing campaign system.

Great expansion, lots of new monsters, abilities, skills and new heroes. Only problem is the production the cards are a little longer then those from the original box so makes it hard to shuffle and some even have a different color finish on them.

Great expansion for Gorkamorka, I got into the Muties and found them to be a unique gang that gave the Orks a hard time on the battlefield.

Fantastic game, played it with our regular gaming friends and they all loved it. Not to much to think about in rules but lots to contemplate in game strategy. A must have.

Very balanced two person strategy wargame with great looking pieces. I think Jervis Johnson did a great job on the wargames series and I don't believe they had enough exposure. If GW would try and focus more on board games and not just their "3 big ones" there is so much potential for great games from the designers that work for them.

Excellent components, cool minis, great board sections and counters. Top quality with a good set of rules. Really tough for the marines but shouldn't it be? A must have for old Space Hulk fans.

Great game for those that love fantasy battle type games but don't want to lug around a whole load of miniatures. Collectable dice with different abilities made every game interesting, but is best palyed with 3 or more players otherwise its unbalanced and finishes too quickly.

Quite a fun little game, but does play better with more people, not to great for 2 players.
