You have to, at least from a distance, look as if you know what you're doing, and I can manage that.

Here the truceless armies yet / Trample, rolled in blood and sweat; / They kill and kill and never die; / And I think that each is I. // None will part us, none undo / The knot that makes one flesh of two, /
badge
Sick with hatred, sick with pain, / Strangling -- When shall we be slain? // When shall I be dead and rid / Of the wrong my father did? / How long, how long, till spade and hearse / Puts to sleep my mother's curse?

Oh my goodness, what fun we had playing these! I had played Panzerblitz before this, and I saw the box (each game featured some of the best cover art that RBM ever drew!) and took a look. On the back, there was only the top view and a 3 digit number. Was this 'attack-defense-speed'? Was this an quick tank game with simple data for each tank? NO! The counters had only an ID number, while each type of tank had a data card chock full of said data! Gun accuracy & effectiveness broken down by 100m increments, armor ratings from 6 different angle aspects, with rising & falling shots also accounted for. And still easy to use and quick playing. It took me many games to learn good tactics & strategy (how to get the most out of each tank, especially the basic tanks), so we played this one to death. We once had a 45 tank battle that lasted 30 turns and ended with our last tanks (a Jagdpanther & JS-2 respectively) simultaneously destroying each other! Bravo, Jim & Yaquinto, and to GMT for printing a new edition!
