This is a Federation & Empire light version. Designed to create a F&E game with a level of complexity similar to Axis & Allies. Please feel free to send me any comments and suggestions you have. Updated with PDF formats for the charts. Most of the charts are still version 0.7 but the main rules are currently 0.8

Hey, I like the ideas here, but how are you doing the map? Are you actually just removing the hexes and moving from province to province?

Aha!

You've inspired me! Your "Beer & Pretzels" version is (almost) exactly what I've been looking for for a long time. I've owned F&E for many years and have never actually played a game of it because the complexity/length barrier to entry was just too high. Your rules make it achievable.

I hope to borrow some of your ideas to create my own house rules which will hopefully lend themselves to learning the full game piece by piece.
