These are very nice. Obviates the problem with "glowing" Intruder counters as well (which, frankly, ruined the original game).

Be aware, though, when you cut out the counter strips, that the Animal, Dummy, and Intruder counters should have a uniform-looking back. I suggest adhering simple white paper to the counter backs of these units. The legal pad backing board suggested by the OP is often very inconsistent in its appearance (i.e., big chunks of stuff showing on the surface of the cardboard). Anything that allows one to differentiate between unrevealed counters is to be avoided.

The goofy looking Intruders which are to be used when playing with children was a real cute touch.

Your comment "I suggest adhering simple white paper to the counter backs of these units." is excellent. The legal pad backing boards I use are very clean and consistent. However, I'm looking at a legal pad now that I'm using at work and the back is as you said. inconsistent and not uniform. So great suggestion.
