I'm the guy who designed and wrote the attached Secret Wars campaign. My buddy, Tim Earl, posted it on my behalf.

If anyone is interested in any other Heroclix campaigns, let me know. I have about 10 similar adventures in the same format/style.

Hope you enjoy them!
Dan

Dan, thanks and nice work. Heroclix should be a game that keeps on playing for generations, like any other great game, regardless of a company folding, or the collectibility issue. I love this game, it has endless replay-ability and scenarios are what makes it happen. I would love if you could post some more scenarios. Wizkids should have put out a hard bound compilation of scenarios like Memoir 44 etc. That would have been really cool. Fortunately, we have players who contribute to the betterment of the game by stuff like this. Thanks!-sparkydavthumbsup

David, thanks for the comments, and I agree completely. I quickly got tired of the standard battles against "cheese" teams with duplicate characters with Perplex/Outwit. Campaigns and scenarios drive the players to use figures that they wouldn't ordinarily use, but they also get a chance to get familiar with their strengths and weaknesses from chapter to chapter.

Send me an email to dsenesky@aol.com, and I'll be happy to share some more campaigns with you. I've done:
- "Inferno",
- "Avengers-Invaders",
- "JLA-Avengers",
- "The Twelve", and my personal favorite:
- "Kang's Cold War".

I've also created some small-build, 3 chapter campaigns featuring teams of Batman villains, Spider-Man allies and the FF. I'm currently creating the "Dark Phoenix Saga", too...

Thanks for a good campaign game.

A few things I want to comment on.

1) I found no reference to "Photon" in the comics. Maybe photon has a better dial, but I could not NOT include Capt Marvel, whom I'm sure photon is meant to represent. Errata CPT Marvel into the document.

2)I was bothered alittle with having the "winning side" fight Galactus. Makes for a good finale, but not really comic right.
I would re work that some how (and I don't know how) to be more comically correct.

3)Would use more up to date heros. The villians seem to have a slight advantage because many of their dials are more recent than the heros. Everyone knows the dials have gotten alot better with the 5 or 6 past releases.

Anyway, thanks! I did enjoy the campaign alot though. Thanks. DocD

DocD- thanks for the feedback, and I'm glad you liked it. Here are my responses to each of your points:

1) Yeah, I didn't recognize "Photon" either, but that is Captain Marvel's Experienced sculpt, so I went with that, since I tried to use all the Experienced variants in this campaign.

2) I agree, it's kind of awkward to reward the winners with a Galactus battle. Still, it was the only way I could think of to give the Villains player a chance at the big guy. Perhaps I could have Marvels, Mutants and Villains combine forces into a 1200 point team--that would be cool...

3) Definitely agree about the Villains being loaded. I think it's somewhat mitigated by the fact they are outnumbered by the Marvels/Mutants force (20 to 15). I've played that battle twice so far, and each team won once.
