Third Edition Rules Errata

One big omission in the 3rd Edition Rules: add a bullet under IV.B.EFFECT ON COMBAT/COMMAND-bullet that says "If a side has uncontrolled SPs in the combat hex, it suffers a -1 DRM." blush

Two More Third Edition Rules Errata

Under III.F.Militia and Indians - 1st bullet:
1) add "by themselves" after the word "combat"
2) add Ferguson to the list of Leaders noted in the EXCEPTION

Clarification

In the third bullet under IV. LEADERS, add the following two lines:
“Nameless Leaders outrank Partisan Leaders. Leader E (not French) outranks one nameless Leader (if stacked with two or more, he is their subordinate).”

Two More Clarifications

1) Under III. COMBAT PHASE, G. ELITE UNITS, EFFECT ON COMBAT, change 5th bullet to read:
"Orange & green Elites don’t suffer the DRM penalty for combat vs regulars if by themselves or stacked with friendly regulars."

2) Under VI. OPTIONAL RULES, A. LEADER CASUALTY CHECK, step 4., change exceptions to:
"EXCEPTIONS: 1) If no SPs left (not in a Fort), 1-3 retreats to nearest friendly-occupied hex, 4 captured, 5 wounded, 6 killed.
2) If no SPs left inside a Fort, 1 escapes to nearest friendly-occupied hex, 2-5 captured, 6 killed."

Is that second part of the sentence really necessary, as militia types stacked with regulars don't suffer the DRM penalty anyway, elite or not?

No its not necessary. I was just trying to be complete. The rule also leaves out the case of Elites stacked with militia only. Here's a clarification to address these:

Clarification

Under III. COMBAT PHASE, G. ELITE UNITS, EFFECT ON COMBAT, change 5th bullet to read:
"Orange & green Elites are treated as BR & CA when figuring the DRM penalty for combat vs regulars."
