Alien City Abbreviated.pdf (25 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
The long and complete Alien City Rules are an excellent read. But it is possible a shorter and more direct, to the point rule-set might be handy, to lookup specific rules, and to aid in teaching the game to others. This three page document describes the basic setup, game-play, and scoring, in plainest terms.

Nice rules summary, very succinct. Thanks for putting it together. There is one thing I'd like to point out though. In your summary you write:
Quote:
On a player’s turn she may:
• Place a Red, Green, or Blue Pyramid
• Place a Black, Red, Green, or Blue Coin
• Claim a previously placed Pyramid, by placing one of her own Black or White
pyramid pieces on it.

This makes is seem like claiming a pyramid would count as a players turn, but in the copy of the rules for the game that I have it says:
Quote:
A turn consists of building (placing on the board) a tower or dome on any legal building site within the city. Players must build either a tower or a dome every turn. . . . At the end of his turn a player has the option to claim any unclaimed tower that is on the board. However each player may only claim three towers per game.

Hope this helps, and thanks again for providing this useful player aid,
