swccgcardlist2.1.pdf (587 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
This is the second edition of my complete card list for the Star Wars Customizable Card Game created by Decipher, Inc. Unlike the first edition, this list uses a larger font and a different sorting system than that used by Decipher in their 2001 list. This list is organized by expansion (by release date), side of the force (dark first), card type, and then card name. Card numbers have been created for reference using this system. Premium and foil cards are listed at the back of the list, while Reflections II & III premiums are treated as expansions. This document has been designed with a 1 1/2 inch margin on the left for proper binding in a card folder.

As per the previous edition, this card list includes all known physical cards printed in English including foils, alternate image, and game aides, as well as mail-in correction cards, tournament foils, fixed printing cards included in the Empire Strikes Back 2-Play Introductory Game and the Death Star II Starter Sets, and one oversized premium card from Reflections II.

Please post any corrections, suggestions or complaints on this thread or contact me directly.

It does. The Naboo Set was called "Theed Palace". It was the primary reason for making the list originally, since Decipher had lost rights to the game before they could get out a list.

Hi,
maybe I found 2 errors. In the Death Star II preconstructed list copyright 2000 are 2 cards one light and one black listed being originally Premiere cards but they are not cause they are ANH. It's
Grimtaash and Monnok.
I'm waiting for 2.2.

Nice list. I think I would prefer the format to be a little bit different, but that's not a big deal. I didn't see a space for the cards in the original 2-player game that were different from the other WB cards (I think there were only two, unlike the Hoth set). I was wondering if you were planning on including known misprints (there was one in Cloud City that's name escapes me) where more than one version was printed in the normal course of events or such anomalies as the blank cards. I'm also curious why only one of the oversized cards was included and not the others. I think there was also a miniature card done of one of the named jawas and a sticker for one of the Fett cards, but that may be really pushing things. Anyway, nice work.

You are correct. I think the electrobinoculars were different in the 2-player set than the regular set, but I believe those were the same as in the unlimited version, which had the same copyright year. That's why I didn't include it. If there is a 2-player card that was different than both the limited and official unlimited card, I will certainly add it to the list.

I decided not to include known misprints because there really isn't an official list and there are just too many of them. I have a few bad prints that friends also have but I don't know if they would be considered "known misprints". Blanks are the same way. Most expansions were capable of blanks even if they were rather rare to find.

I included only one of the oversized cards because it was the only unique one among the batch. There are a number of official promo cards out there. I have the Boba Fett oversized sticker and I remember seeing the mini jawa card. I'd consider including the rest in an addendum. I included the one, however, because it is unique in that it was never printed in any other form. I agree that it throws off the premium list slightly (pushing it over to 101 cards) and I'd consider placing it elsewhere.

Any advice on how you'd have done the list? I decided to do it this way since it emphasizes the individual expansions while not really changing the organizational structure that Decipher originally had in their official card lists (which were usually alphabetical, sometimes by card type). I then numbered them based on that order rather than trying to do anything more formal. How would you have organized it?

My only quibble relates to the overall layout. My preference would be to have sets contigiuous across both columns. Thus, when a new set/division starts, it begins in the same place in both columns, perhaps with light side in one column and dark side in the other. Granted, this would introduce more unfilled space, but after ~30 pages that's not really much of a concern for me. Again, that's just my preference for layout. I think what you have is great.

I would have to look into original 2-players cards. I got rid of my "collection" years ago, so all I have left are boxes of commons and uncommons with a few odds and ends stuck in weird places. I think I kept the 2-player cards in a separate box, but I'm not sure where that is.

When I said misprint, I guess I really meant alternate prints. The card I am thinking about in CC had the game text set in a different manner on some of the cards so that about 20% didn't have the full text. That may be more trouble than it's worth.

I have a list I created, I think I've acounted for everything, including copyright dates, promos, oversize cards, mini cards, etc. The only thing I didn't account for where Japanese cards. My total count is 3891.

I covered everything except for oversized (with an exception), minis, stickers. Foreign language cards I didn't include unless they were available in US card packs or boxes. Technically, I guess almost every Japanese card was available through Dagobah, I believe, since Decipher tossed a few in the Reflections packets. Grr. I hated getting those cards. Still need to get a final count of the cards done.

Thanks for this list, it's great.

Following on from the comment about Electrobinoculars, there was a discussion on the Players' Committee site about it, and I've checked my cards. There are 3 versions - the original BB, a WB version from the 2-player set, and a corrected WB version from the Unlimited expansion.

To be clear, there are two different WB versions, with different gametexts, They all have the 1995 date on them.

Thanks again for your work.

Cheers,
Andrew

The real question regarding Electrobinoculars is how to deal with it. For the ESB 2-Player Game I just made a completely new list of cards because the date was different from the Hoth Unlimited release. But all of the Premiere 2-player cards were the same as the Unlimited Premiere cards except for Electrobinoculars (can anyone else confirm the identicalness of the two Premiere 2-player and the Unlimited releases?) card. How should that be numbered? It wasn't a correction. Should the entire Premiere 2-player set be listed as its own group like ESB? Opinions please.

Thanks for the list, It has been very helpful indeed! A couple of errata for you, In the Premiere expansion, The light side card 'Return Of A Jedi' has been marked as C2 when it should be U2, and the light side card 'Rebel Planners' has been marked C2 when it should be R2.
