Single Page Dice Tower v.1.1.pdf (944 KB) (Solve captcha above to download.)
This is version 1.1 of the printable template for a dice tower made out of a single page of card stock paper. No tape is necessary if using with the expansion (see The Single Page Dice Catcher http://www.boardgamegeek.com/file/info/34176), but useful if you wish to weigh down the tower with 2 quarters (recommended). Instructions for cutting, folding and assembly included. Would love to hear opinions and suggestions for improvement. Enjoy!

Now I have not tried it yet, so this comment might not be any good. Maybe you can paste sticky paper to it to thicken it up. Sticky foamy might work too.

Awesome. This is great for those dice fest games (Heroscape or Stoneage) when you have limited table space.

Wow, this is very kool looking! I'm going to try shrinking it down so it will fit in with the micro-dice that come with Victory Point Games.

Russell: you designed this? Thats awesome. You dont happen to design card-stock models too? Cause this is very close to that.

Well here it is:

I ported the file into photoshop, added the woody background, reduced the size by 50%, then created a mirror image so I could have print on both sides. Turned out not bad. And its just the right size for micro sized dice!

Thankyou Russell.

I did it and liked it very much. I made a wooden catcher by myself. See.

Thank you for posting. I built it in about 30 minutes from 110-lb. cardstock and have an old felt-lined box (was the gift box for a wallet I think) that this fits into perfectly. I added a few more quarters to the base for stability. This is awesome.

In a feat of engineering, I extended and floored the "catch basin" as well.

A4 is the standard paper size here, so I printed this on A4, and then I put it on top of the cardboard to cut it. Most of it was easy, besides the holes which are quite hard to cut with the pen knife.

After I made it, its too small for the The Rivals For Catan dice! Which are quite big by the way.

Wondering if its easier to modify my Johnny Walker Black Label box for this instead of starting from a cardboard.
