I made this little visual tutorial for new players that come over for game night. I send them an email with a link to my web version during the week or let them run through it on my laptop on game night. Hopefully it helps some of your new players too.

Thanks for the kind words.

Yeah, it was kind of a toss up if I used meeple or not. The game instructions say follower and I figured that would be an easier term for a new non-gamer. They can pick up on the "correct" terms while playing the real thing.

I have a tutorial for settlers I should upload also. I started San Juan one but never finished it.

EDIT: File updated with some fixes, also now uses the term meeple instead of follower

Well done!

I also like the additional info included on three expansions. My set came with "The River" included, but I've been wondering about Inns and Cathedrals and how it plays. Now I have a much better idea than just reading about it on the Geek or on the box. Thanks!

This great, big kudos on this. I wondered how I was going to explain this to my wife without turning her off to it. Awesome.

very nice,
only too bad it's the old (1e) rules and not the newer (3e) rules.

if you ever make this with the newer rules, is it possible to give you the dutch translations of your text, so you can make a dutch version of this?

thanks!

i second that, but would rather do a german version Maybe you just should implement a "search language.txt" option
