Here is an update to the prior posting. Discussions with and input from the game designer have honed these cards down to ones he also likes, so you will notice both a type format change and some wording changes. So take your choice, but this one is more unofficially official :)

Here is a printable word .doc with two 'fantasy' cards on it you could print to cardstock and add to your game for fun. One card for the USA has a resource event "Lincoln Suspends Habeas Corpus" and a special event "Balloons and Pinkertons" The other card for the CSA has a reaction to the USA card "Political Backlash and Legal Actions" and special event "Measles, Malaria, Smallpox and Dysentery"

I think these cards really fit the game well and add to the story-telling element.
