DWTK-Player_Aid_v1-1.pdf (19 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
This file contains a summary of available activities, including free activities. It also summarizes the costs and what cards/counters may influence the results. It goes with the re-written version 1.1 rules. The PDF file is a single page that contains two summary cards. it should be printed and the pages cut in half.
Of course, once it's posted I find the typos. After Wrongdoing, it shoud read DWTK, not DWTH. There should also be an asterisk after Dueling to show it can be performed by a henchman.
I would like to see this as 1 on a full page instead of 2 on a page, in order to increase the font size. 6.5 point font kills the deal for me. You young people with that great eyesight - crazy!
I'd like to kill some of the abbreviations as well, but then, I'll complain about nearly anything. Like 'req. office', when there is room for the full word. Ditto 'extra Assn. cards' (I assume that means Assassination? and Requires?) What is '- on-going Privateer' ?
Well done. I don't think there is anything quite like this for this game.
(Let me know if you'd like me to edit out these 'complaints' here. I'll leave in the praise of course.)
Done. I've submitted the new file so it should show up soon. I expanded all the abbreviations and put just one copy per page.
The "on-going Privateer" comes from use of the Privateer prestige table. When you pay and roll the first time, the voyage may not end. In that case, you have to keep track of what the ship is holding and then roll again the next turn (can only make one roll per turn, and you don't pay for subsequent rolls of the same voyage). This continues until you get a result that either sinks the ship or lands it. If it lands, then you collect whatever it's carrying.
