I notice in station laying you've stated that two tokens of the same company can't be laid in the same city. This is just a default 18xx thing, but isn't explicitly in the rules. Did you get a clarification for this?

It's not explicit in the rules, but I believe that that's just an oversight. The rules are written by an experienced 18xx player, and in places it looks like it forgets that the audience is supposed to be 18xx newbies.

But in the Dutch rules (the original language) it says that the number of spaces on a station tile show the number of companies that can have a station in that city, which implies that a second station of the same company would not occupy the second spot in that city.

Cool, that's exactly what I was hoping to have missed (someone had a rules question in another thread). I'm only good at figuring out things from rules in English or (somewhat) German, Dutch is a mystery!

Thanks for the clarification

Changes in version 3:

* Clarification on buying trains at phase changes when at train limit
* Clarification on what happens with trains over the train limit
* Selling shares for a forced train purchase is optional
* Cannot sell shares in a forced train purchase if this wouldn't bring in enough money to buy a train
