How should the state-to-state routes be scored?

If route is completed, you get that many points. If more than one is completed, the greater amount is scored. If not completed, the lowest score is used to subtract.

I like it waaaay better with the score track border. Why did you remove it?

As a native Iowan, I feel it's my duty to build this, it's just been move to next in line.

I removed the score track for several of reasons...
1) I don't have a high quality track that runs to 100.
2) The dimensions of the new board didn't work with the current track I had.
3) I always thought the track took away from the map.
4) I like to condensed look at the scoring rather than all spread out.

I knew it wouldn't be a popular move but I thought people could add their own track if they wanted.

What did you use to print out the board? My version with a bunch of pieces of paper taped together could use an upgrade.

I use mat board cut into 4 pieces. I then use contact paper to put over it and seal it. It holds up really well.

If you look at this old picture, it gives you more of an idea what I'm talking about.

Here's my build:

Thanks for sharing this, I appreciate the work you've put into this.
My nieces and nephews were fascinated by the map and the fact that they recognized lots of the places really kept them interested.
I'm happy with it, but here's a couple things I noticed during the build:

1. All of the files are at 72 DPI. This doesn't really affect the map too badly, but some of the text on the cards can be hard to read, due to the pixelation. Could you re-submit this with a higher resolution?

2. Because the cards are so small and the space between them is so tight, I found it really difficult to get the front and backs registered correctly. I also just like larger cards. Would you consider re-formatting the cards for an ArtsCow friendly deck? (individual images, 3.5" x 2.5")

Thanks for your time and effort!

I ordered some ArtsCow cards for this, link is here - http://www.artscow.com/ShareAlbum.aspx?Key=d41ry1n9

However, I would recommend replacing the back picture with a better scan.

How should you deal the state to state cards? Shuffle them all together with the other missions? Or each player gets one?
