Supremacy.Master.Rules.Feb.8.2009.doc (3.04 MB) (Log in or Register to download.)
I developed this draft of the Supremacy Rules to cover all expansions. I hope that others can offer good, constructive criticism and suggestions to improve these rules, particularly with the battle drills, which I still find confusing. I'd like to improve those charts.

My starting point was to read, compare, and combine all of the official Supremacy rules, including the MegaSupremacy Rulebook, two official Communiqués (January 15, 1986 86-01 and 1993 Vol.1 No.1), the Mega Map Rules, and Colonial Legions and Merchant Marine rules.

Next, I used the excellent rules drafted rules by Matt Robertson. His template was the best looking (using headings and subheadings with a logical order particularly) with awesome rules clarifications and I appreciate his permission with using it as the basis for these rules. I’m not sure if it is available anywhere to download but he kindly emailed his files to me. I also used the most complete, comprehensive and well drafted rules file out there called sup_rules111998p.doc and other helpful files under Supremacy Files by SC (sfc1970) at the Yahoo Supremacy Newsgroup. The Mega A5xxxx Rules by Tom W, was also helpful with good explanations and excellent variants.

I also downloaded and read everything at Maximilian’s Supremacy site, which is an invaluable resource. Then I read and copied as much as I could from the Yahoo Supremacy Newsgroup . Everyone there was helpful but I want to especially thank Scott (alighttouch),Tom (aka_tom_w), and Matt Robertson.

Here are the websites that I found useful (these were working when I drafted these rules):

OMG, David! This looks amazing! I look forward to reading through all these rules! I wonder if any game publisher is thinking about reprinting this wonderful game?

If you don't mind, I'd like to reformat your .doc, using indesign, into a printable .pdf. I work in small press publishing and I can make your work look like its ready to go to the printers! What do you think?
