Player Aids, one for each player: detailed Round, Turn, and Battle sequences. Cut out and it fits nicely on the player mat over the current aid information.

It looks like this would have been a good play aid but for whatever reason, after the first 7 lines of text (Round Sequence, move coin, player turns. ...) my printer began printing in an unknown tongue. I don't think even the Pentecostals could decipher it. If anyone else experienced this and/or knows how to fix it, I'd sure like to know.

Roger,

That's... very odd. It prints fine for me. Just the first few lines? There's nothing in the original document that should make the first lines different than the others, and there shouldn't be any font compatibility problems in the pdf file.

Anybody else have trouble printing it correctly?

Good job on this!

The only tweak I'd suggest is to adjust the wording where it says:

replenish BCs: 4 + comm

to

replenish BCs up to 4 + comm

otherwise it could be construed that you ADD 4+comm amount of BCs to your hand. This would be awesome (you could have like 11 cards!) but unfortunately, incorrect.

Thank you! You saved me from creating my own player aid to help teach the game this weekend.

I'd also rephrase the battle card total line. On first glance it looks like the total calculation includes weapons divided by shields. The / should be replaced with an or.

I see the gibberish effect too. It's good until the bottom of the first page where there are a couple extra !'s. From there on it's total gibberish. "Spvoe!Tfr vf odf !" for example. But it looks fine on the preview so...yeah pretty odd. Printer is a Canon ip5200R that didn't have any problems with the V2 rules. Adobe Reader 8, plugin running in Chrome.

Try downloading the file and using a standalone reader, such as Acrobat or Foxit, rather than a browser plugin.
