Rules for Keltis card game v 3.pdf (88 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
As pointed out by Andrew, I had altered the rules to remove the word "each" when talking about the point card discard pile: there should be only one discard pile for point cards, and one each for each of the coloured number cards:

(a) "For each colour of Number card (including End cards), and for the Point cards, there should be one discard pile on the table – meaning up to 6 discard piles are possible."

That's weird. This bit used to mention Shire Games, and tell you all how wonderful we are. But it seems to have got deleted. Let's see what happens this time ....

Simon,

You seem to have missed a line in the rules. I just finished my translation, and was looking to see if we agreed, and there's a line that says

At the end of the game, each player may add up to two cards from his hand into either his colour- or point-card rows. No more cards are drawn after that.

That bit seems to be missing from your translation.

A correction/clarification needs to be made regarding the discard pile for points cards.

The translation reads as if you have one discard pile for every point card, yet the German rules state there should be only 1.

See this thread: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/438549

Many thanks for the translation!

Dear Andrew,

Quite right, and reading again thru my translation an "each" creeped in which shouldn't have been there. I will upload v 3 with a correction and an extra sentence to clarify.

I have another suggested correction. In this section:

Translation v3 wrote:
(b) The player discards two instead of one card as described in (a). Two cards may only be discarded if they have the same value (whether they are Number or Point cards). The player then takes the Wishing stone card of the corresponding value from the row laid out on the table. This is only allowed if the Wishing stone card of the value matching the played cards is still available on the table.

Wish Stone placement isn't clear from this translation, and in fact had me thinking that Wish Stones just might go into a player's hand.

However, it would appear that the German rules are clear on this point: What is meant by "taking" a Wish Stone? Wish Stones taken in this manner are placed face-up in front of the player.

Thanks, it's a good point that it is not crystal clear (although I guess once in your hand you can't do much with it). I will update the rules. Cheers.
